Joshua Kadish

Executive Director

Joshua is the CEO and co-founder of Sourcefin, bringing almost a decade’s worth of corporate M&A experience in the commercial sector. Prior to joining Sourcefin, he practised at one of RSA’s major law firms and was part of an eminent team which advised on some of RSA’s most prominent mergers & acquisitions in the past decade. Joshua is an admitted attorney of the High Court and holds B.Com., LL.B. (with distinction), and LL.M. degrees from the University of Witwatersrand. Joshua is also a published legal author with various of his academic writings featuring in local and international legal journals, with his academic writings notably featuring in the renowned Journal of Corporate and Commercial Law & Practice.

Joshua left the legal fraternity and joined Sourcefin in 2021 and has served on the board of directors and as the CEO since inception. Joshua has led Sourcefin from a staff compliment of 3 employees to a team of almost 50 employees and dedicated consultants and with a track record of over R1B deployed under his leadership with impressively low bad debt rates and excellent returns.

In December 2022, Josh became a member of the illustrious Companies Tribunal, chaired by Judge Dennis Davis, under the Department of Trade and Industry. Minister Patel recognised Josh’s exceptional experience and expertise in corporate law and finance, making him the youngest-ever member of the Tribunal. In 2023, Joshua was named in South Africa’s prestigious Forty under 40 awards, winning his category, Banking and Finance.

Avi Mishan

Non-Executive Director

Avi Mishan CA(SA), is the Founder and Managing Director of SMD Technologies, a global leader in consumer electronics and brand development.

Prior to joining the corporate environment, Avi completed his B Com (Law) degree Cum Laude in 2005 and went on to obtain an honours degree in Accounting in 2007. He then completed his practical training at one of South Africa’s leading financial institutions, Nedbank, which afforded him an opportunity to gain invaluable exposure to international corporate finance whilst being placed in London.

In 2010, Avi qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Avi’s passion for knowledge resulted in him returning to his Alma Mater as a Senior Lecturer of Corporate Finance and Property Valuations in 2011.

In addition to running several successful companies, Avi is a member of the Young President’s Organization, was a winner of the Jewish Achiever Entrepreneurs Award in 2017 and is actively involved in his community.

Avi’s versatility, tenacity and ability to identify gaps in the market has resulted in him becoming intrinsically involved in the running of numerous successful corporations in a variety of sectors, such as property, finance, and FMCG.

In 2020, Avi founded Sourcefin, a firm that specialises in purchase order financing for tenders, and currently serves as a Director. He brings a wealth of supply chain knowledge to the business, unlocking immense value for its clients.

Marom Mishan

Non-Executive Director

Marom graduated with a BSc. in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur. He has a track record of leading successful teams and delivering innovative products in fast-paced environments. Marom’s expertise spans across a wide range of domains, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Marom is passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems and is constantly exploring new and innovative ways to push the boundaries of what is possible. 

Marom is currently serving as the director at several leading technology companies, where he is responsible for driving the companies’ technical vision and strategy. He oversees research and development efforts, as well as designing effective technology-first products.

Amrish Narrandes_vCircle

Amrish Narrandes

Non-Executive Director

Amrish Narrandes is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 11 years of experience in private equity and venture capital. 

He is currently the Head of Private Equity & Venture Capital at Futuregrowth Asset Management, one of South Africa’s leading asset managers. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the origination and exiting of investments across a wide range of sectors that include Agriculture, Infrastructure, Mid-Market Private Equity, Real Estate and Early-Stage Investing.

 Amrish serves on various portfolio company boards within the investment portfolio and works closely with the Investment team to provide strategic, financial and operational guidance and support to underlying portfolio companies wherever needed to drive shareholder value and developmental impact. 

Amrish has a deep understanding of the private equity and venture capital landscape, and his expertise has been instrumental in helping Futuregrowth to achieve a strong track record of investment success. He played a significant role in driving Futuregrowth’s recent exits of Cash Connect and Retail Capital.

Brian Masondo v2

Brian Masondo

Non-Executive Director

Brian Masondo, is an Investment Principal at Futuregrowth Asset Management with over 9 years of experience in the financial industry. 

His diverse background in investment banking, Private Equity and Venture Capital has equipped him with a broad range of skills and expertise that he brings to portfolio Companies. 

Brian began his career at Standard Bank in the Investment Banking Mergers & Acquisitions team, where he honed his skills in executing transactions. During his tenure at Standard Bank, he worked on numerous transactions across various sectors, gaining invaluable expertise in capital raising, restructures, acquisitions, and disposals. 

Transitioning into the world of venture capital, Brian brought his financial acumen to the startup ecosystem when he joined Naspers Foundry, where he played a crucial role in identifying and nurturing early-stage companies with high growth potential. His keen eye for promising ventures, coupled with his strategic insights, led to successful investments and portfolio company management. 

He further expanded his experience as an investor in early stage companies at ESquared, a South African-based early-stage investment firm.
